I really like these. Saw some in Giant going for about 15 or 17 each pot. Really wanted to get one but have no experience growing them.

Yes indeed they are very interesting plants. Mostly are ephiphyte meaning they need good drainage and high organic matter. Doesn't do well in soil.
I have mine growing well among tree branches. Just give em' good balance foliar spray will do wonders for em'. Hassle free and drought tolerant too.
Ofcourse, with ants will be an added bonus!(I mean for the plants) ;D I do keep a few from different family including some ant ferns too.
Will post some picts later!

Yes please post some pics of your plants. I think the next time I see some for sale, am gonna grab one or two pots! I think they'll also look nice grown on my orchid shade house posts and beams. Saw some grown like that in an orchid nursery.

I have the 1st photo plant that come with my orchids purchased. Easy to grow and can propagate by seeds. One pot should enough cause you will notice the seedlings grow somewhere in your orchid pots. Exchange is welcome. ;D
The second one looks like a wild thing in the plantation.

Nice photos, especially like the first one. We have plenty of ant ferns (wild) over here, I don't really like them though, for obvious reasons. Dischidia on the other hand...

kk, I actually prefer the second (I think D. rafflesiana) - which was photographed at Bako National Park. Lots of ants plants in this NP - to the first one (D. pectenoides). But would love to have both and many more species. I'd let them grow wild on my trees as well as climb all over our orchid shade house. I haven't any dischidia to exchange with though, are you interested in lipstick plants (Aeschynanthus sp.)? I have three kinds.
