as far i know, cactus need not much water. correct me if i'm wrong. emmmm.... funny, how are you doit YC.

YC, Couldn't it just over saturated with water & explode??? This is what had happened to cactuses when getting too much water as of what I know of Just curious. Cheers, AT

Hi AT, I am not sure. But I do notice that the growth rate is much faster than when they are in soil. I have been keeping it in water for a few months only. I will monitor it.
AT, can cactus flower easily in KL?

Hi YC,
Thanks for your answer. Now I understand. My question is just out from curiousity.
I'm not sure because I don't keep them. I think they love full sun and dry atmosphere (low humidity) to thrive well. I like them especially those succulents like gasterias and haworthias but unfortunately my place doesn't allow me to grow them well!

Too wet & high humidity 75% during daylight & 90% at night time. they sure rot away....hehe. :-)
